I didn’t watch it because I didn’t have to. I knew it was going to be YUGE and Glorious.
That all the liberals around me would find precious little to gnash their terrible teeth and roll their terrible eyes about.
On my FB a friend suffering from pathological altruism in the extreme (some people interpret Christianity to mean constant martyr-hood.many such cases. Sad.)
She’s smart in that very North German kind of way. She’s very interesting but you find yourself thinking that she needs to be chaperoned at all times. Or She’ll be taken advantage of by someone less worthy but malicious—she’s unemployed, she’s depressed, she’s got a young family, she was reaching a fevered-pitch hoping that Glorious Leader’s main concern was a path to citizenship for the dreamers.
The only way you can figure the math on how displacing my culture which sprang from this country’s founding with a people that are just here because they want our stuff is when solving for x remember it’s (((x))).
If these people only knew how they looked in my eyes-they would stop immediately.
The afflicted with liberal folks that I actually talked to though–took the speech with this glorious spin: Trump has ‘really learned something’.
They even managed to proclaim this with an intonation that suggested they had personally taught it to him.
What they lack in self-awareness they over compensate for with hubris.
